Fuchosa’s commitment to work listening to its special interest groups. Thus, this social responsibility face of the company has a double dimension:
- Internal Dimension which may be seen as working mainly in favour of the People who make up Fuchosa, as well as all other aspects linked to Internal Management Systems.
- External Dimension which may be understood as the work done by special interest groups made up of Clients, Suppliers, Shareholders and the Society which Fuchosa fits into in broad terms.
The most interesting initiatives and projects in the arena of Social Responsibility are reflected year by year in the specific section of the same name included in the Human Resources Management tool entitles Social Plan, where the following lines of work are important:
- Professional development and Equal Opportunities (qualifications and new competencies)
- Flexibility and life-work balance
- Integration and social sensitization (promoting women in the workplace, immigration, handicapped workers, voluntary workers, etc…)
- Development of Risk Prevention and respect towards the Environment
- Cooperation and development of inter-relationships with our special interest groups.
Currently Fuchosa forms part of the XERTATU project, an initiative being lead by the Basque County Council’s Department of Innovation and Economic Promotion, whose principal objective is to encourage social responsibility among small and medium-sized businesses in Vizcaya. |
